At the cabin, we need to haul our water. When I was a kid, the water at Arlington Beach was disgusting and could ruin anything it touched: juice, coffee, brushing your teeth even. It has improved drastically since a new water plant was added but we don’t have water into the cabin. No big problem but I am really picky over the drinking water I like. Saskatoon has really safe drinking water but I have never preferred the taste. Even with a Brita water filter, I am still not fan of the taste. and we have Culligan water at home and at work. Having a water cooler at the cabin is a bit of overkill and so I was thrilled when I found one of these pumps at Wal-Mart today. They are $6 and make it a lot easier to grab a Culligan container full of drinking water and bring it along with us. We can use Arlington Beach water for cooking and cleaning and keep the Culligan for drinking.
