Coughlan’s Mosquito Coil Holder

1851 This is kind of cool.  It’s the Coughlan’s Mosquito Coil Holder.  The first thing we do when Jordon and I do when we go up to the lake is light a mosquito coil.  While the cabin is a lot more air tight than it was when we bought it, there is still a lot of mosquitoes that get in.  Anyone who has tried to sleep while hearing the drone of a mosquito knows how annoying it can be.  Plus with the risk of West Nile Virus always present, I would prefer to keep the bugs outside the cabin.

While mosquito coils work great, they leave a mess and for about $5, Coughlan’s makes a great little holder for them.  We bought one for the gazebo and one for inside the cabin and they keep the ashes from being spread around and also it keeps the coil burning better than the stand does.  You can find them online or at your neighborhood outfitters.
